The elegant choice

Elegant. Open. Timeless design. French doors have been a part of architecture since the 18th century, when they first appeared in France. It’s a door classic that keeps on giving.

A French door is a door with glass panels. It gives a new meaning to light in the room, adding both airiness and lightness to the space. Although French doors have been used in homes for centuries, they are still relevant when you need to create an environment with two connected living rooms. Here, a French door brings an elegance and timelessness that adds a classic exclusivity to a home.

With our interior French doors, which are made to measure based on the proud traditions of Danish craftsmanship, you can add a classic touch to your interior design, offering a unique sense of quality, comfort and modern functionality. It’s a difference you can feel.

Same design as exterior doors and windows

In architecture and interior design, it’s a good idea to stick to a theme to create a connection between the building and the interior. One way to connect interior and exterior elements is by having the French doors follow the same design as the windows or exterior doors.

On our Instagram profile, you can see some selected examples of what interior doors, which provide a natural connection between the rooms in a building, can do. Here you can get inspired to choose your own Vahle French doors, which are available in several different configurations.

French double doors maximize light and aesthetics

With a French double door, you can maximize both light and aesthetics.

With French double doors, you get a much greater view of the adjacent room. And you get the feeling that the house has gotten bigger. At the same time, you let the light flow through the rooms, giving you a whole new spatial experience. Therefore, if your building allows for a French door with two door leaves, it will undoubtedly be a beautiful element.

The French door with two door leaves brings beautiful light into both rooms. The combination of clean lines, refined details and glass creates a natural focal point that is a delight to the eye and gives a distinct sense of space, light and openness. Therefore, you don’t just get a door that is a practical closure between two rooms, but a certain experience through a French door that can’t be fully replaced by other solutions.

If you want French doors that, through their thoughtful design, play a part in the overall narrative that your indoor environment should ideally create, you are therefore very welcome to contact us to hear more about the possibilities you get through Vahle French Doors.

Traditional craftsmanship principles ensure you a stable French door.

Hotels, holiday homes, villas and apartments. All buildings can carry French doors.

We produce our French doors using traditional craftsmanship principles. That’s why Vahle French Doors are produced with continuous glazing bars.

Continuous glazing bars are part of a load-bearing structure with individual panes of glass between the bars, which are glued into the door. We call it French doors with “real glazing bars”.
