Hotel d’Angleterre was established in 1755 on Kongens Nytorv in the center of Copenhagen. After many years of use, this historic hotel was in need of renovation.
C.F. Møller Architects was responsible for the overall renovation, and Vahle supplied interior doors for the hotel’s customer-facing areas.
Tall, elegant panel doors in smoked oak

Solid doors with sound reduction and fire protection
The solid doors are fire and security approved and sound reducing. Some of the doors are made of smoked oak with a door viewer and electronic locking system. The basic concept of the door is incredibly flexible, allowing the design to be upgraded with sound reduction and fire protection without compromising on appearance.
Tall interior doors add to the sense of elegance
The doors are made in very large sizes, which adds to the sense of elegance. Some interior doors are flush, while others are panel doors. The rooms have sliding doors, adding a modern and stylish touch to the hotel’s classic look.

A common design line ensures that the doors look the same, regardless of functional requirements. Vahle has worked closely with C.F. Møller along the way. Møller along the way, so that the doors were as desired down to the smallest detail.
