Oak is a common material throughout the villa. The doors are all made of Dinesen Layers Classic Oak, both the side-hinged doors and the large sliding door that you first encounter when you enter the front door.

A home made for living in.
You don’t have to spend much time in this villa before you realize that this is a home made for living. The modern villa is in every way a living space where the young family has made room for the good life. From the two floors, all rooms except the bathrooms have direct access to the outdoors, and the large glass panels on the water side ensure bright and friendly spaces.
All interior doors are Dinesen LAYERS by Vahle doors in Dinesen Classic Oak. The doors are designed by Baks Arkitekter, who also designed the villa.
The first door you encounter is a large sliding door that separates the entrance from the living area. The door measures 205 x 240 cm and has an integrated handle that makes it easy to open and close despite weighing over 100 kg.
Oak doors become furniture in the interior.
The interior doors are all Dinesen LAYERS by Vahle and they are designed according to what we call the “reverse door” principle. An inverted door opens the opposite of a classic door, and that makes the solution something special. This means that the doors in the main room are completely flush with the walls. The frame is inside the room and the hinges are hidden on both sides of the door.
The inverted doors allow the beautiful oak wood to break the white walls in a beautiful and calm way. In this way, they become a distinctive yet integral part of the interior that you want to touch, adding elegance, tactility and warmth to the simple architecture.
